About
City Ordinances
Review the City of Allentown parking ordinances to better understand the rules that guide parking throughout the city.
Parking ordinances in the City of Allentown are established by the City of Allentown and passed by City Council. The Allentown Parking Authority, APA, enforces applicable parking regulations, but does not create, change, or pass city ordinances.
We encourage residents, businesses, and visitors to review the City’s parking ordinances so they can better understand the rules that help keep our streets safe, accessible, and moving efficiently. These ordinances are in place to support traffic flow, emergency access, public safety, and fair parking use throughout the city.
Whether you are looking for information about parking near corners, loading zones, meter regulations, driveways, street cleaning, or other parking-related requirements, reviewing the City Ordinances can help answer many of the questions we receive.
