Parking Control Officer
You are responsible to enforce the parking rules and regulations set forth by Allentown’s City Council. You have a responsibility to the community to treat all patrons that park in the city with respect and fairness. You are not just “A Meter Maid“!
Customer Service Representative
You will understand and be able to convey all aspects of the APA operations to our customers. You are the ultimate “Multi-Tasker! You will answers phones, work on the computer, greet customers in the lobby, solve problems, process payments, provide court information and so much more… all with that award winning smile of yours!
Must have previous management experience or demonstrate potential. Outstanding customer service with a professional, friendly attitude. Ability to supervise, train and lead staff. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have knowledge and experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Must posses a valid PA Driver’s License and a high school diploma/GED.
Facilities Equipment & Operations Supervisor
The principal function is supervising the operation of the Parking Garages and all surface lots. Manage day to day maintenance of the garage equipment to include: Gate machinery, elevator, CCTV, lighting, and data/communication equipment. Maintenance of vehicles and equipment; reporting; inventory, snow removal, training and supervising staff and various other duties.
This position has you directing guests parking their motor vehicles in our parking facilities, collecting fees and utilizing various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems. The hours are flexible and the shifts include evenings, weekends and holidays.
General maintenance of parking facilities, equipment and properties, including repairs, snow removal and cleaning. Hours and Shifts vary. Full-time and Part-time positions.
All tasks involved in maintaining the operation of parking meters and paystations. Installs, removes, repairs, collects, counts, cleans, and relocates equipment around the city. Various other duties, with physical requirements (see job description for details).
