Parking Enforcement

I Want To...

Parking rules are required to be obeyed at all times and can be enforced by either the Allentown Parking Authority or the Allentown Police Department at any time, unless restricted by city ordinance. The Allentown Parking Authority now enforces 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Meter Enforcement

Parking Meters are enforced Monday through Saturday from 8:00am through 9:00pm in the Core PPL Event Area – Hamilton Street, from 4th to 12th Streets and the unit blocks north and south of Hamilton Street (Linden to Walnut Streets) from 5th to 11th Streets. The rate to park at these meters is $2.00 per hour, unless otherwise notated and payment may be made with coins, bills, credit/debit cards, or with your Park Mobile mobile app. If a Parking Meter or Paystation is inoperable, please report it to the APA and park at a functioning Meter and/or use a PayStation located within the same zone. Parking in a space with an inoperable Meter and/or Paystation is subject to violation.

Meters in all other locations are enforced Monday through Saturday, from 8:00am through 6:00pm. The rate to park at these meters is $1.00 per hour and payment may be made with coins, or with your Park Mobile mobile app.
