The Allentown Government Center Parking Deck is a fully automated garage. With the instructions provided below, we are sure you will have a pleasant stay.
Government Deck
The Government deck includes state-of-the-art parking technology that allows parkers to enter and exit the facility without an attendant being on-duty. Built to serve the needs of the government district, this deck has spaces for approximately 600 vehicles.
Instructions for using Pay on Foot Parking Solutions
1. Press the button at the entrance for a ticket, which will raise the gate.
2. Pay for your ticket when you are ready to exit the facility. After payment is received at the pay station and your ticket is validated, you will have 10 minutes to exit the facility with your validated ticket.
3. When you are ready to exit the facility, you have two options for payment:
First payment option: CASH OR CREDIT CARD. Take your ticket to one of the “Pay Stations” located at the elevator lobby on the Ground level, or the 4th level. Follow the prompts displayed on the screen. Make sure you put your ticket /credit card into the machine with the black stripe facing up and to the right. After payment, the “Pay Station” will validate your ticket and return the ticket to you. You need the ticket to raise the gate at the exit.4. Second payment option: CREDIT CARD ONLY. Do not go to the pay machine. Drive to the exit and place your ticket in the exit machine. The machine will calculate your charge and inform you to place your credit card into the machine. Follow the prompts displayed on the screen.
5. “HELP” buttons are located on all entrance/exit gate machines and also the Pay Station machines.
6. Credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard and Discover
7. Daily rates are posted: $1.00 per hour up to a maximum of $8.00 for a 24-hour period.
8. Monthly contract spaces are available at the rate of $65.00 per month.
